Amy is from Royal Oak, MI and joined the Designhaus team in March of 2022 after finishing college. She attended Lawrence Technological University where she received her B.S. in Architecture, B.S. in Interior Architecture, and Master of Architecture degrees which have equipped her with a unique blend of skills, creativity, and perspective to complement the team.
Amy has a passion for designing buildings and spaces that leave lasting impacts on the communities they serve, combining aesthetics, sustainability, and practicality with a deep appreciation for the design process and an eye for detail. Her favorite aspect of design is witnessing the journey from the initial spark of an idea, through the creative and technical design phases, and finally to the construction and completion of a living, functional space.
Beyond her architectural pursuits, Amy enjoys traveling, staying busy, and can often be found taking millions of pictures of her dogs. Her adventures not only serve as a source of inspiration for her work, but also provide a broader perspective on design. Amy’s most cherished travel experience was her 4-week journey to South Africa with a team from school, where she had the opportunity to collaborate with a local architect and immerse herself into a new culture and is excited to continue seeing more of the world.
