Peter graduated on the Dean’s List from The University of Cincinnati, College of Design Architecture Art and Planning (DAAP) in 1994. His early career was spent in New York City working with a large multidisciplinary architecture firm, HLW International. While there, his involvement included projects for companies including Bayer Pharmaceuticals, The Bank of Tokyo, The Port Authority’s World Trade Towers and Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp. In 1998, Peter came to Rochester, Michigan and founded Designhaus, LLC. Since then, he has been the architect for over 2 billion dollars’ worth of commercial and residential construction.
Professionally, Peter has remained completely involved, serving as Chief Architect at Designhaus throughout the years, ensuring the staff is continually challenged, provided with the industry’s best tools, is always learning and remains nimble. He has mentored more than 60 young architects, with many of the original staff members remaining to this day. The spirit of training and education even led him to a role as adjunct faculty in the Architecture program of Lawrence Technological Institute in Southfield, MI.
As a Greater Detroit resident, husband, and father of three, Peter has been involved in the community through Rotary, Boy Scouts of America, the DDA, Paint Creek Center for the Arts and many more grass roots organizations that promote strong ethics and help fortify the economic strength of the region.
